Today was quite an epic day: from Ninja-ing around in the morning/early afternoon with xtel and mathilde (new french intern who looks like emma watson RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT) to running around with yami yoghurt after lunch at Suntec and then rushing off to a pretty interesting meeting after with Elise (Nuffnang, havent seen her in forever! ok since feburary) and Brad (finally met ladyironchef irl!). In other words, just, you know, a typical day at work.
Nyahahaha kidding. Mathilde declares today her most interesting day at work so far (seriously who on earth ninjas around in the morning) so i have proudly awarded myself with the title of Queen-Of-Making-Intern’s-Lives-Interesting. You may call me your highness.
Last night’s Music Unlimited party at the Ritz Carlton by Sony Entertainment was interesting- it’s part of Digital Matters Asia 2011. I derive gleeful pleasure in looking at the shock splash across people’s faces when they try to guess my age and i finally tell them im eighteen. Guesses average around twenty three- honestly people, do i look so old?! I guess i should go hide in a corner and cry now.
Met a bunch of music producers and while trying to maintain my professional looking neutral mmhmm, interesting face, i was actually squealing and jumping around inside like the teenager i am. JBDJABDJAWDBNJ MUSIC PRODUCERS!!! I might be looking at the next Will.I.Am!!!1!1!!!
Things going on these few days include Imogen Heap/ 91.3fm party/ Simple plan. It is odd how i start screaming and fangirling over bands and everyone in this office gives me blank looks and cautiously exchange superritious glances that clearly say ooooookay… back off slowly…
Observe
Me: OMG OMG OMG SIMPLE PLAN!!
Ricky: wait who?
Me: SIMPLE PLAN!! THE ANTHEM OF MY TEENAGE DAYS!! i mean, er, younger teenage days. when i was like twelve/thirteen.
Ricky:…. wait who?
Me: YOU KNOW. YOU KNOWWWW. WELCOME TO MY LIFE/PERFECT/ UNTITLED ..
Miko: This right here is the perfect example of a generation gap.
Yes, my work life in six lines.
I have used the word interesting exactly six times in this blog post including the hugeass red title up there. Of course, therefore subtly hinting/doing some inception-esque ninjastyle thingy/HINTING that my life is possibly is could be maybe is ok probably not interesting. i fail. i feel so boring lately. Please! Reassure me! Tell me im interesting!
nawhwhhahah jk im fine.
Hope y’all are having a … wait for it.. interesting week. NYAHAHA.
